Star of the
Gareth Tidball delivers powerhouse performances for stage & screen. She is typically known for playing young, tough girls with a strong sense of justice and an air of quiet mystery.
Gareth is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she received training from the Meisner Studio and the Classical Studio and was honored with an Outstanding Achievement Award from the university in 2015.
Since completion of her drama training at Tisch, Gareth has worked consistently in theatre and indie film from California to New York. In addition to her performing work, she serves as a devoted teaching artist, where she boasts over 5 years of experience leading drama, music, and visual arts lessons to children aged 4-18. A dual citizen in the US and the UK, Gareth currently resides in Bristol, England.
Gareth stars as Rachel in the indie feature MY AUTOPSY, a romantic thriller that tackles the complex long-term effects of an abusive relationship. The film has been screened at multiple festivals including the 2020 GenreBlast Film Festival, where Gareth was awarded BEST ACTRESS IN A FEATURE FILM for her performance.
In August 2019, Gareth reprised her role as Lexi Aupperlee in the hard-hitting documentary theatre piece AMERICA IS HARD TO SEE at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The play was met with an entirely sold-out run, received several 5-star reviews, and was voted #1 Play at the Fringe by Fest Magazine. The play first premiered off-Broadway at HERE Arts Center in January 2018 and was directed by Travis Russ of Life Jacket Theatre Company.
In Fall 2020, Gareth will begin a one-year training course at Circomedia Centre for Contemporary Circus & Physical Theatre with a major in Acrobatics and a minor in Manipulation (Juggling.) The school is located in Bristol, England.
