"young, tough, and rough around the edges"
STAR OF THE FEATURE FILM
Gareth Tidball delivers powerhouse performances for stage & film. She is typically known for playing young, tough girls with a strong sense of justice and an air of quiet mystery.
She is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she received training from the Meisner Studio and the Classical Studio and was honored with an Outstanding Achievement Award from the university in 2015.
Since completion of her training at Tisch, Gareth has been working consistently in the New York downtown theatre scene and the indie film industry.
Gareth recently starred in the role of Rachel in the indie feature film MY AUTOPSY, a story that tackles the complex long-term effects of an abusive relationship. The film was directed by Holly Mollohan of Screaming Butterfly Entertainment and was shot over 24 days in Charleston, West Virginia. The film is currently in post-production with an anticipated release date in 2020.
In August 2019, Gareth reprised her role as Lexi Aupperlee in the hard-hitting documentary theatre piece AMERICA IS HARD TO SEE at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The play was met with an entirely sold-out run, received several 5-star reviews, and was voted #1 Play at the Fringe by Fest Magazine. The play first premiered off-Broadway at HERE Arts Center in January 2018 and was directed by Travis Russ of Life Jacket Theatre Company.
