Gareth Tidball delivers powerhouse performances for stage & screen. She is typically known for playing young, tough women with a strong sense of justice and an air of quiet mystery. She holds equal love for the intimacy of live theatre and the imagination of independent cinema.
Gareth holds a B.F.A. in Drama from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where she received training under the Meisner Studio and the Classical Studio. She is also a graduate of Circomedia Academy for Contemporary Circus and Physical Theatre, where she studied acrobatics and juggling.
As a proud dual citizen, Gareth has worked internationally in theatre and indie film throughout the United States and Great Britain. In addition to her performing work, she serves as a devoted teaching artist, where she boasts over 5 years of experience leading classes in drama, music, and visual arts to students aged 4-18. (Teaching resume can be provided on request.)
Gareth stars as Rachel in the indie feature MY AUTOPSY, a romantic thriller that tackles the complex long-term effects of an abusive relationship. The film has been screened at multiple festivals including the 2020 GenreBlast Film Festival and the 2021 World Music and Independent Film Festival. Gareth was awarded BEST ACTRESS IN A FEATURE FILM at both festivals for her performance.
In August 2019, Gareth reprised her role as Lexi Aupperlee in the hard-hitting documentary theatre piece AMERICA IS HARD TO SEE at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The play was met with an entirely sold-out run, received several 5-star reviews, and was voted #1 Play at the Fringe by Fest Magazine. The play first premiered off-Broadway at HERE Arts Center in January 2018 and was directed by Travis Russ of Life Jacket Theatre Company. FOR MORE INFO CLICK HERE
